The Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) offers training and certification in the fields of assurance, governance, risk and information security.  Originally founded in 1969, this company has a long history of providing quality knowledge to technology professionals.  They offer a small selection of highly skilled certification programs, including their CISA—Certified Information Systems Auditor and CRISC—Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control.  ISACA is focused strictly on the IT industry, they do not offer general business certifications or programs outside of Information technology.

Certifications Offered:

ISACA offers in-demand certification programs for the IT industry.  Lets take a look a few below:

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) – The CISA certification is aimed at those who audit and monitor information systems.  With attaches on IT infrastructures becoming more common, this certification is vital for those who want to protect IT systems.  According to the ISACA website, the average salary for someone with this certification is $110K per year.
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) – The CISM focuses on information security.  It indicates expertise in information security governance, program development and management, incident management and risk management.  The average salary for the CISM is $118K+ and the program is accredited under ANSI (ISO 17024:2012).
• Information Technology Certified Associate™ (ITCA™) – Build your IT knowledge and skills in five essential work-related domains—with five knowledge and performance-enhancing certificate programs that stack up to one career-advancing ISACA certification.  Training for the certificate exams consists of a combination of knowledge-based and hands-on lab-based training.
